Making a contract with us

When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods.  We will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received your order.
Once we have checked the price and availability of the goods, we will e-mail you again to confirm that we accept your order, and that a contract has been made between us.
In the unlikely event that the goods are no longer available, or that we have made a pricing mistake, we will advise you of this.  You will not receive an e-mail confirming acceptance of your order, and there will be no contract between us

We have tried to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on this website. However, the imagines used are for illustration only.  Your items may vary slightly, and we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the actual goods.

None of the accessories shown in the pictures on this website are included with the products you purchase, unless specifically stated.

Goods shown as assembled may require some assembly by you.

All information provided is approximate and is provided in good faith.

This contract is covered by English law.

By placing an order with us, you agree to and accept these terms, as well as our privacy policy, delivery policy, and the terms of website use.

How to place an order

Orders can only be placed via our website. You should select the items you wish to purchase and add them to your basket. Items can be removed from the basket up until payment.

Delivery charges will be shown once your order is totalled.

We use PayPal for online purchases, and you will be required to pay for the goods in full at the time of ordering.

Any promotional prices shown only apply during the period stated.

All prices are quoted in UK pounds and include Value Added Tax at the current rate applicable.

Once your order has been confirmed, changes may not be possible for you to make any changes. In the event that changes are possible, they may incur additional charges which must be met by you. Delays may also occur.

Cancellations and returns

This policy does not apply to the following goods, which are exempt from the right to cancel. This is in line with the distance selling regulations:

* Any items which have been personalised or modified to your specification, this includes doors, drawer fronts and all colour matched accessories which have been made to your specific requirements (including drill holes).

You can cancel your contract at any time up to 7 working days after delivery. To do this, please e-mail us or write to us. We are unable to accept notification of returns via telephone. You cannot return any items which have been installed, unless they are faulty – see section below about faulty goods.

You do not have to give any reason for cancellation. However, a brief explanation will help us to improve the service we offer to customers in the future.

If you cancel, you must return the goods to us at your own expense, and a 25% restocking charge will apply. You are responsible for the risk of loss or damage when you return goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value.

If you fail to return the goods, we will collect them, and we will charge you the direct cost of collection. If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us and this results in damage or deterioration, we will charge you for the reduction in value.

We will return any funds to you, less any costs incurred under this contract, within 30 days of cancellation.

This cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights — for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed

Faulty goods

If there is a problem with the goods, you must notify Just Kitchen Makeovers in writing within 3 days of receipt of items. We will deal with the matter in accordance with your legal rights. This does not apply to worktops, which must be checked for damage on receipt of the delivery and reported to the delivery driver. You should not take delivery of damaged goods, but should contact Just Kitchen Makeovers immediately.

Items must be returned in their original packaging. Just Kitchen Makeovers will not accept returns of goods which have been installed if the fault could have been identified prior to installation.

All Bella doors, drawers, plinths, handles and hinges are covered by a manufacturer's warranty against faulty workmanship and materials, subject to the terms and conditions of that warranty.

Doors, drawers and colour matched accessories are guaranteed against materials and workmanship defects for a period of 3 years.
Hinges, handles and drawers are guaranteed for 1 year from the date of delivery.

Within these time scales we will replace defective goods free of charge, at our discretion, providing that you have returned to us any faulty goods upon request, and provided that the defects are not due to wear and tear. Returns are made at your own expense.

The manufacturer's warranty is provided in addition to the rights that the law says you have as a consumer and accordingly, your statutory rights are not affected.

If an exchange is necessary, this will be arranged without unreasonable delay and without charge. Replacement goods will not be dispatched until the original goods have been received at our warehouse and checked.
We are unable to guarantee and exact colour match on any replacement items due to the nature of the product. If an item is no longer available we will offer an alternative.

Doors should be cleaned in accordance with our care and maintenance instructions.

Items situated below or next to a sink, covering a dishwasher, washing machine or other similar appliance should be protected against excessive water contact. Items damaged by excessive water contact will not be covered by the warranty.

Items located near any source of heat or steam should be protected either by heat deflectors or other suitable protection. Items damaged by heat or steam will not be covered by the warranty.

Where we replace faulty goods you are responsible for their disposal if they have not previously been returned to us.

We accept not liability for any consequential loss, costs or re-fitting charges. The warranty covers the replacement of the component only.

The products sold on this website have been designed to comply with all relevant UK legislation. We cannot warrant or represent that they comply with any legal requirement outside the UK.

We do not accept liability for any consequential loss of profit or indirect losses. You should therefore not book installation of the goods until you have received them and inspected them.
